About David

A professional baker for over 30 years, David has done it all. Lucky for us he still loves to make bread, biscotti, and the occasional batch of croissants. (That is if his back is cooperating.)

For 20 years, David was a vendor at the Burlington Farmers Market in Vermont. Some Vermonters may even remember his brick-and-mortar bakery, Panadero (now known as Barrio Bakery). As a solo baker, he was truly doing it all.

For David, it’s about quality ingredients, thoughtful flavor combinations, and a well-loved recipe. Orange poppy that tastes like orange poppy, almond crescent that tastes like almonds, hazelnuts that taste like hazelnuts. It’s not a dusting or an extract. It’s not minimal. It’s warm, comforting, and delicious. You could say authentic.

Now you can catch David at the Hamilton Farmers Market for the full season from May to October. 2025 will mark 5 years!
